Late night shooting at bingo hall - Online Bingo News

A Gala Bingo club in Walsgrave, Coventry, was broken into on Sunday night and the security guard shot when the gang of four masked raiders tried to rob the bingo takings.
A gang of four masked men broke into the bingo club just before 11pm at closing time on Sunday night. Bingo players had already left the club and there was a sole security guard on patrol.
One of the gang members was armed with a gun and shot the 25 year old bingo security guard in the leg. The gang's bid to steal the bingo takings was unsuccessful and they fled the bingo hall empty handed in a Vauxhall Astra, according to police.
The security guard is reported to be in a stable condition in hospital and is expected to make a full recovery.
A Gala Bingo spokesman confirmed that there had been a shooting on Sunday night, and that the company was cooperating with the police on the investigation into the crime.
"Our main concern is for the security guard and our thoughts are with him. Luckily there were no bingo customers in the club."
